1. Using MainBuyer

MainBuyer provides product price comparison, research-based reviews, buying guides, software and service comparisons, price evidence and links to third-party retailers or providers. The site is intended to help you research a purchase; it is not the seller of the products or services shown unless a page explicitly says otherwise.

You may use the public site for lawful personal or business research. You must not deliberately interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, submit malicious code, scrape the site in a way that materially disrupts it, or use MainBuyer content to mislead others about a product, price or recommendation.

2. Prices, availability and product information

MainBuyer may record a retailer price together with the date it was checked. Prices, stock, delivery charges, bundles, model variants, discounts and other terms can change after that check. The price and terms shown by the retailer or provider when you complete a transaction are the ones that apply to that transaction.

We aim to identify products and models accurately, but retailer listings can change or combine variants. Check the model number, specification, quantity, bundle contents and compatibility at the destination before buying.

3. Purchases, payment, delivery, returns and warranties

MainBuyer does not process payment for purchases made through retailer or provider links. Your purchase contract is with the retailer, marketplace seller or provider you choose. Their checkout, payment methods, delivery terms, cancellation rights, returns policy, warranty terms and customer service rules apply.

Nothing on MainBuyer replaces any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you in your country.

4. Reviews and recommendations

MainBuyer publishes editorial judgement based on the evidence described on each page and in our review methodology. A recommendation is not a guarantee that a product or service will be right for every person or every use.

Research-based assessments are identified as such. We do not describe a product as hands-on tested by MainBuyer unless that testing has actually taken place.

5. Affiliate links and commercial relationships

Some outbound links are affiliate links. MainBuyer may receive a commission if you follow an eligible link and later buy or subscribe. Affiliate commission does not determine product scores, editorial verdicts, guide order or lowest checked-price claims.

6. Accounts

If you create or use a MainBuyer account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity carried out through your account. Do not use another person's account without permission.

We may restrict or close access where reasonably necessary to protect the site, other users or the integrity of MainBuyer systems.

7. External websites

Retailers, manufacturers, providers and other sources linked from MainBuyer are independent third parties. MainBuyer does not control their websites, availability, security, privacy practices, product fulfilment or customer service.

A link is provided for research or buying convenience and does not make MainBuyer responsible for the third party's actions.

8. MainBuyer content

The MainBuyer name, site design, original editorial material, comparison presentation and original graphics are protected by applicable intellectual-property rules. Normal linking, quotation and sharing are welcome where lawful and properly attributed.

Do not republish substantial MainBuyer content, remove attribution, or present MainBuyer editorial conclusions as your own without permission.

9. Availability and liability

We work to keep MainBuyer useful and available, but the site may occasionally be unavailable, incomplete or out of date. To the extent permitted by applicable law, MainBuyer is not responsible for losses caused solely by reliance on stale third-party prices, stock information or external-site content that changed after our last check.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as MainBuyer changes. The current version and effective date will be published on this page. Continued use of the site after an update means the new terms apply from that point, subject to any mandatory rights that cannot be waived.
