Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9000 remains widely sold in the UK, but it is now best treated as an established premium model below the more adaptive 9900 Prestige rather than Philips' newest flagship. It combines sonic side-to-side movement with four named modes and three intensities, giving users more manual control than the simplified Prestige handle. That flexibility is useful for households with changing preferences, but the presence of more modes does not by itself prove a better clean.
Clean, White+, Gum Health and Deep Clean+ mainly alter timing and intensity patterns. White+ is intended to help with surface staining, not to bleach enamel or change the underlying shade of a tooth.
